How do I redeem my Delta Air Lines gift card?
At delta.com, search for your flight, and on the payment page select Gift Card as the form of payment — enter the card number and PIN, then apply. How do I check the balance of my Delta Air Lines gift card?
You can check your balance on Delta's redemption site by entering the 19-digit gift card number and the 4-digit PIN printed on the back of the physical card or in the delivery email for an eGift. Where can I use a Delta Air Lines gift card?
A Delta gift card is accepted at delta.com, via Delta Reservations by phone, and at delta.com/vacations for Delta Vacations packages. It applies to the fare — base price, taxes, fees, and surcharges — on any Delta-marketed flight worldwide, including Delta Connection regional flights and codeshare flights carrying a Delta flight number. Up to five cards can combine on a single transaction.
Do Delta gift cards expire?
No. Delta gift cards and eGifts carry no expiration date and no service, dormancy, or inactivity fees — the balance stays intact for as long as you need it. Delta will not replace lost, stolen, or destroyed cards, however, so treat the card number and PIN like cash. Store the delivery email in a safe folder if it's an eGift.
Can I use a Delta gift card for baggage fees, in-flight purchases, or seat upgrades?
No. Per Delta's terms, gift cards cover the air transportation portion of a ticket only — fare, taxes, fees, and surcharges — plus Delta Vacations packages that include air. They cannot be applied to baggage fees, in-flight food or beverage purchases, Wi-Fi, seat upgrades, premium seating, Mileage Booster, SkyMiles Cruises, hotels, or car rentals booked through Delta.
Can I use a Delta gift card on partner airlines like Air France or KLM?
Only on flights that carry a Delta Air Lines flight number. Delta gift cards are valid on Delta-marketed flights, including Delta Connection regional routes and codeshare flights where you purchase a Delta-numbered ticket that's operated by a SkyTeam partner. Tickets sold directly by Air France, KLM, Korean Air, or other partners under their own flight numbers are not eligible.
Can I buy a Delta gift card at Costco, Walgreens, Target, or grocery stores?
Yes — Delta sells physical gift cards through authorized retailers including Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, Kroger, Publix, Albertsons, Safeway, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, The Home Depot, and Lowe's, as well as directly at delta.com/giftcards and at Delta Sky Clubs.
