What a Carvel gift card gets you
The card is branded Carvel but it's the GoTo Foods Mix It Up card, so the same balance spends at seven sibling chains — Auntie Anne's pretzels, Cinnabon, Jamba smoothies, McAlister's Deli, Moe's Southwest Grill, and Schlotzsky's, alongside Carvel scoop shops. That's a single card good for ice cream cakes, a soft-serve cone, a burrito, or lunch. Unlike a bank-issued Visa gift card, there are no activation or per-purchase fees, and dormancy charges don't whittle the balance down.
two formats:
- Physical card: Sold at participating Carvel and GoTo Foods locations and on supermarket gift-card racks. Typically $10 to $100.
- E-gift card: Emailed within minutes, redeemable at any of the seven brands. $25 to $200 via Dyme. Can be saved to a phone and shown at the register.
Multiple cards can be applied to one order at the register, and a single card works across all seven brands on separate visits until the balance runs out.

Can I get a Carvel gift card at a discount?
Yes, but not through Dyme. Dyme sells Carvel e-gift cards at face value; the value-add is Dyme Miles and instant paperless delivery, not a face-value discount. The discount channels are:
- Supermarket gift-card promotions. Grocery chains occasionally run "buy a gift card, earn bonus fuel points" or 4x-points promotions on third-party gift cards, which can include the Carvel rack card. Timing rotates and isn't always available.
- Secondary marketplaces (Raise, CardCash). Resold gift cards from third parties, sometimes a few percent below face value. Inventory is thin for restaurant cards. Verify the balance before redeeming.
- GoTo Foods seasonal promos. The brands periodically run bonus-card offers (for example, a free smaller card with a larger purchase) around the holidays. These vary year to year.
The bigger combined return comes from the rewards stack below: your credit card on the purchase, plus Dyme Miles. Most buyers leave that money on the table.
How to stack rewards
Two rewards programs fire on a single Carvel gift card purchase through Dyme.
Your credit card earns rewards on the Dyme purchase.
Gift-card resellers typically code as MCC 5947; many cards exclude this MCC from category bonuses, so a dining multiplier usually won't apply.
Earn 1 Mile for every dollar you spend, and 5 Miles per dollarduring special offers — the layer the other channels can't match.
Illustrative only. Card rates and Dyme Miles offers change and vary by member; figures above are examples, not a guarantee of value.

How to buy on carvel.com
- Go to the Carvel gift card page on carvel.com.
- Choose physical or e-gift, then pick the amount.
- Add to cart and check out. The Carvel card is the GoTo Foods Mix It Up card, so it works across all seven brands.
How to buy in store
Any participating Carvel scoop shop sells gift cards at the counter, as do the other GoTo Foods brands. Tell the team member the amount you want, pay with cash or credit, and walk out with the card. Loadable amounts typically range from $10 to $100.
How to buy at Costco, Sam's Club, or a supermarket
Supermarket gift-card racks at chains like Kroger, Safeway, and Albertsons carry restaurant gift cards at face value, and the GoTo Foods card appears on many of them. You pay no discount but earn the supermarket's loyalty points and any fuel rewards that apply to gift-card purchases. Carvel is not stocked at warehouse clubs the way big-box retail cards are, so multi-pack club discounts generally don't apply.
Designs and personalization
Physical cards: a standard Carvel / GoTo Foods design, with seasonal options appearing around the holidays at participating locations.
E-gift cards: a digital card with a customizable personal message and recipient email at checkout.
There is no co-branded option for individual purchase. For bulk orders, see corporate ordering below.
