What a Regal Cinemas gift card gets you
A Regal gift card covers more than the ticket. It applies to concessions, premium-format upcharges for RPX, IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX, online ticketing convenience fees, and reserved-seat upgrades, and it works at the box office, the concession stand, the Regal app, and regmovies.com. It is also accepted at Regal-affiliated theaters under the Cineworld umbrella where the same card program runs. There are no activation fees, no dormancy charges, and the card does not expire.
two formats:
- Physical card: Mailed in a sleeve. $25 to $500 per card via regmovies.com.
- E-gift card: Emailed within minutes, scannable from the Regal app or a printout. $25 to $500 via regmovies.com; $25 – $100 via Dyme.
You can load a Regal gift card into the Regal app and combine it with Regal Crown Club credits and stored payment, then apply more than one card across a single order until the total is covered.

Can I get a Regal Cinemas gift card at a discount?
Yes, but not through Dyme. Dyme sells Regal e-gift cards at face value; the value-add is Dyme Miles and instant delivery, not a face-value discount. Movie cards are one of the more reliably discounted categories, mostly through warehouse clubs:
- Costco and BJ's, in store and online. Both clubs routinely sell discounted Regal multi-packs — often around $40 to $42 for $50 in value, or movie packs that bundle tickets and concessions credit. This is the most consistent discount channel. Membership required.
- Secondary marketplaces (Raise, CardCash). Resold Regal cards from third parties, usually a few percent below face value. Confirm the balance before redeeming, since secondary sellers occasionally list cards with partial balances.
- Seasonal brand promos. Regal occasionally runs bonus-card offers around the holidays — buy a set amount in gift cards and receive a bonus card or ticket. These are not guaranteed year to year.
The bigger combined return comes from the rewards stack below: your credit card, Regal Crown Club at redemption, and Dyme Miles on the purchase. Most buyers leave that money on the table.
How to stack rewards
Three rewards programs fire on a single Regal gift card purchase through Dyme.
Your credit card earns rewards on the Dyme purchase.
Gift-card resellers typically code as MCC 5947; many cards exclude this MCC from category bonuses.
Free to join. Earns at redemption, not on the gift card purchase.
Regal Crown Club earns credits when you pay at the box office or concession stand, including when you pay with a gift card. It does not earn on the gift card purchase itself. Scan your Crown Club account at checkout to bank the credits. Program terms →

How to buy on regmovies.com
- Go to regmovies.com/gift-cards.
- Choose physical or e-gift, pick a design and the amount.
- Add to cart and check out. Regal does not run a member discount on gift cards.
How to buy in store
Any Regal box office or concession counter sells physical gift cards during open hours. Tell the attendant the amount, pay with cash or card, and the card is active immediately. Hours follow the theater's showtimes, so call ahead if you're arriving outside peak times.
How to buy at Costco, Sam's Club, or a supermarket
Costco and BJ's regularly stock discounted Regal multi-packs in warehouse and online; this is the most dependable discount channel for movie cards. Supermarket and pharmacy gift-card racks at Kroger, Safeway, CVS, and similar chains carry $25 and $50 Regal cards at face value — no discount, but you earn the retailer's loyalty points and any fuel rewards on gift-card purchases.
Designs and personalization
Physical cards: a rotating set of designs in the Regal catalog, including seasonal and movie-themed art. A sleeve and printed message are available at checkout.
E-gift cards: a few standard designs with a customizable subject line and recipient message.
There is no co-branded option for individual purchase. For bulk orders, see corporate ordering below.
